The wardrobe painted like a Trompe l'OeilSprings blooms in the kid's room This is the magic of the Trompe l'Oeil, which can bring a garden into a room, pulling down walls and enlarging spaces. An old wardrobe with sliding doors, some azure water paint and acrylics colours, some decoupage details and it's enough to give life to the kid's room. The wardrobe was hand painted using also stencils and decoupage techniques, which simplify and speed up the work: for example the tree leaves were realized with a stencil masks, while some details like flowers, butterflies and birds have been taken from decoupage paper or nature magazine. The step by step explanation and the drawings have been published in the first number of the magazine "Casa Chic" Picture: Massimo Bottura |
